With an undergraduate degree in history from Columbia University and a PhD in English from the University of Pennsylvania, Jill learned marketing and advertising at the dawn of direct-to-consumer outreach in the pharmaceutical industry, conceiving and producing brand campaigns and breakthrough websites for companies such as Pfizer, Amgen, and Johnson & Johnson.
Jill's creative mindset and practical approach have given her the ability to develop and implement successful brand programs for small nonprofits, major philanthropies, and cultural and educational institutions. Interested in education, health care, and the areas in which the two intersect, Jill's original thinking and ability to create clarity for complex organizations has delivered results for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Rockefeller University, and The Jackson Laboratory, among others. She has also led rebranding efforts for consulting firms and historic sites, conducted audits, written plans, created enrollment marketing materials for independent schools, and overseen awareness campaigns aimed at audiences ranging from state and federal policymakers to low-income families.
