National comprehensive cancer network


 

If you or a loved one has ever been treated for cancer, chances are that the oncologist used guidelines developed by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, a consortium of 27 of the nation’s top cancer centers. NCCN is well known in oncology circles. But outside of them? Not so much. So we introduced NCCN to the national consumer health care media to broaden its reach. 

Our multi-platform media strategy has built new relationships for NCCN, and included NCCN's first-ever online newsroom, giving newly interested journalists a place to find subject-matter experts and highlights from NCCN policy summits. We promoted NCCN's voice through a livestreamed news conference and an interactive, CEO-hosted webinar on patient values and the NCCN Evidence Blocks tool to the Association of Health Care Journalists. The result? Informed journalists and a higher profile for NCCN in the patient value discussion.
