TOGO TRAVALIA

SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Togo is an expert communicator, storyteller, and strategist. His two decades of writing development and marketing copy and managing creative projects have spanned every nonprofit sector.

In recent years, Togo has worked closely with Mercersburg Academy, an elite boarding school in south-central Pennsylvania, driving multimodal communications around a $300 million campaign and helping launch the rebranding of the school’s enrollment marketing. He has brought a new identity and website to Bartram’s Garden, a historic green space and education center in Philadelphia, and helped support the merger of two conservation organizations in nearby Chester County. Both projects have helped expand membership and engagement. Togo also continues to work with major national institutions — such as the National Museum of African American History and Culture, during the final phase of its Campaign for America’s Next Great Museum, and Volunteers of America, as it revitalizes philanthropy programs.

A graduate of Swarthmore College, Togo values relationships in every project, striving for an uncommon level of partnership and collaboration. In this way, organizations learn, grow, and connect to new audiences.
