With a commitment to integrate knowledge, increase access, and engage communities worldwide, the University of Pennsylvania needed to prepare for the public launch of its $3.5 billion Making History Campaign.
Beginning in the quiet phase, SteegeThomson developed messages, crafted a comprehensive communications plan, and created materials to support President Amy Gutmann in briefing sessions with prospective donors. Our multifaceted support carried through to the campaign’s successful close, and included a brief video and materials for nine of the 12 schools plus the athletics department. Penn reached its initial goal 16 months before the end of the campaign, and in total raised $4.3 billion.
