SteegeThomson was tapped to announce a truly transformative surprise endowment gift for the Wharton Esherick Museum. In addition to honing a targeted press list, developing press materials, and pitching the story, we helped the WEM create a gift announcement page specifically for the media, containing all the assets a reporter would need to write a complete story on the gift and its impact. The story received wide regional coverage, including deep-dive features in The Philadelphia Inquirer and on WHYY. Best of all, we received feedback from the journalists we worked with that they had never received a better-prepared suite of press materials. We have continued to work with the Museum, developing both a comprehensive communications plan and a case statement for their future campaign.
