The Hotchkiss School’s motto is “Moniti Meliora Sequamur.” This Latin phrase translates as “Guided by each other, let us seek better paths,” and it remains remarkably true to the school today. It’s a place that is always looking forward, but doing so sensitively, thoughtfully, and with input from its community. When Hotchkiss set out to launch its first major comprehensive fundraising campaign in over 25 years, it wasn’t just a moment to raise funds. It was a moment to reengage the school’s global community, reaffirm its values, and inspire a bold new chapter of leadership, inclusion, and academic excellence.
