Graphic Designer/ Creative Coordinator

Full-time

Hybrid (Philadelphia, PA)

  • Job description

SteegeThomson is an award-winning marketing and communications agency based in Philadelphia. We help mission-driven organizations and causes amplify their impact through branding, public relations, social media, creative services and fundraising communications. Our clients include colleges and universities, charities, foundations and national nonprofit organizations.

At SteegeThomson, you’ll join a team of creative problem-solvers dedicated to producing high-quality work within a flexible, supportive and collaborative environment. You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with clients — and to see your ideas brought to life and celebrated.

The Graphic Designer / Creative Coordinator plays a central role in the agency’s creative and operational flow. You’ll support the visual development of client work and new business materials, help manage creative assets and systems, and collaborate closely with team members to keep projects moving smoothly.

It’s a great role for a designer who’s eager to strengthen their craft while gaining exposure to the full spectrum of marketing and communications — from branding and campaigns to proposals and digital content.

You will:

  • Contribute to creative and strategic concepts for client and new business work
  • Design and produce materials across print, digital, social and presentation formats
  • Support proposal development, pitch materials and internal marketing initiatives
  • Coordinate visual assets, templates and creative files
  • Work closely with Associates, the Principal and Business Manager on day-to-day project coordination
  • Assist with updates to the firm’s website, email communications and social media channels
  • Help ensure consistency, quality and attention to detail across all visual deliverables

We’re looking for previous employment and experiences that demonstrate:

  • Strong design skills and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visuals
  • A bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of related professional experience or internships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to client service
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Facility with a range of tools and platforms, including design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Canva; Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; and familiarity with project management systems, content management systems and digital marketing tools

We offer:

  • The opportunity to learn while creating high-quality creative and strategic solutions for some of the greatest nonprofit organizations in the world
  • Health benefits
  • 401(k) and profit sharing
  • A hybrid work schedule that includes 3 days a week in our Center City Philadelphia office
